UCSC Retiree ID Card
The UC Santa Cruz Benefits Office is honored to be tasked with sending retirement packages and gifts to our new retirees. To ensure that items are sent to the correct address confirm that your contact information is up to date. Please note, that this process may take some time as the official retirement election report is only released three times a year from the Office of the President.

Campus Parking
Contact Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) for information regarding free parking or bus pass privileges available to UC Santa Cruz retirees or visit their website.
When a retiree returns to a recalled appointment they are then considered an active employee and therefore may not use a retiree parking permit during that time. Misuse of a retiree parking permit during a recalled appointment will result in charges for each month of misuse.

How to update contact information with RASC
Update you contact information anytime using UCRAYS. For those planning to retire soon, please update your contact information through the UC Path portal. For those planning to retire soon, please also update your contact information through the UC Path portal.
Verify your pension income
In UCRAYS: From the left side of the home page, under My Accounts, go to Benefit Payments & Taxes, and then click Request Verification of Income.
In a few moments, you will receive an email that an official verification letter is available in your UCRAYS account. Go back to UCRAYS and click Messages on your UCRAYS page.
How to review and update beneficiary information
Your UC benefits are designed to protect you and your family. Make sure to designate beneficiaries for your retirement and insurance accounts and keep them up to date so your benefits will go to whom you intend. Learn how to review and update your beneficiary information.
Retirement benefit check dates
The mailing date for paper checks and direct deposit statements is the same date as the payment date. The following chart lists the dates for 2025.
